Heritage Adventurer was built in 1991 as Society Adventurer in Finland and for many years was the Hanseatic expedition cruise ship for German shipping company Hapag-Lloyd Cruises. In 2018, it joined the One Ocean Expeditions fleet as Resolute and has been operating for New Zealand shipping company Heritage Expeditions since 2021.
