Silversea & Mirazur 3* Michelin Restaurant Agreement


Silversea Cruises has signed a unique partnership with the 3-Star Michelin Restaurant Mirazur, headed by one of the world’s most renowned chefs, Mauro Colagreco, to offer guests a new dining experience on the French Riviera.

This new collaboration will be an integral part of Silversea‘s S.A.L.T. culinary program, taking guests to the authentic heart of French culinary traditions in Menton, one of the Mediterranean’s most beautiful cities.

This exceptional dining experience will be available to guests on Silver Moon, Silver Dawn, and later Silver Nova and Silver Ray, during the summer of 2023 and 2024, during stopovers in Menton and Monte Carlo.

Beyond the simple opportunity to dine at one of the world’s finest restaurants, our Mirazur experience will create truly meaningful connections between our guests and the region’s cuisine”, said Adam Sachs, Silversea’s S.A.L.T. program director.

The experience begins with a trip to the market in the old town of Menton, where Mirazur vendors will introduce guests to the local food culture, local produce, fresh seasonal vegetables and distinctive cheeses. A member of the Mirazur team will guide small groups of approximately 12 guests through the market.

Next, travelers will visit Chef Mauro Colagreco’s artisan bakery, Mitron, where they will learn about ancient grains and sample a range of traditional breads and pastries produced sustainably through certified organic farming.

Guests are shown the restaurant’s five biodynamic gardens, located between Monte Carlo and the Italian border, at different altitudes, from the sea to the mountains, where teams of gardeners study the best conditions for 39 varieties of tomatoes, the famous Menton lemons and various vegetables. These products form the basis of the Mirazur cuisine.

The experience concludes with a nine-course tasting menu in Mirazur’s private kitchen, a unique and personalized culinary experience inspired by the French Riviera and Chef Colagreco’s Italian-Argentinean passion and vision. Participants will embark on a well-defined sensory journey centered around bold dishes sourced primarily from Mirazur’s gardens, as well as fresh fish from the Mediterranean Sea below, which varies according to the season.

S.A.L.T., short for Sea and Land Taste, is Silversea’s innovative culinary enrichment program that allows guests to travel deeper through a series of destination-focused dining experiences both on board and ashore.
