Seabourn presents: the real “Sushi”

On Seabourn Encore and Seabourn Ovation the Sushi experience truly takes you to a corner of Japan, with the authentic tastes of Japanese cuisine and excellent service.

On the center8 deck of the ship, on Seabourn Encore and Seabourn Ovation, you’ll find a small restaurant in perfect Japanese style: Sushi. Open for lunch and dinner, it’s a specialty restaurant available free of charge to all guests.

The environment is rather simple, with a showcase containing the varieties of fresh fish and a small laboratory of preparation in sight. Few tables, some overlooking the sea, others more reserved inside the small room. Even the equipment is essential but perfect for the dishes on the menu.

At lunchtime we offer a formula with courses of sushi and sashimi and a main course of your choice: the “Bento”. This can be vegetarian, with salmon or chicken. Dumplings and Noodles are also excellent. For dinner instead the menu is wider and it is possible to order a series of appetizers and many varieties of sushi and sashimi to follow. The salads are also worth tasting.

The flavors are really authentic, strong at times, but certainly bring us closer to the Japanese reality than we are used to in the now widespread Japanese restaurants in all our cities. Even the presentation and service are appropriate to a five-star ship: waitresses who make descriptions in perfect Japanese, courteous and helpful. Very elegant decorations that show great attention to the dishes without distorting the simplicity of an excellent sashimi.

Sushi, on board Seabourn, offers much more than a tasting of excellent fish and uncommon Japanese recipes. It offers a wonderful experience in the climate and true oriental cuisine that certainly enriches a style of cruising that makes on-board gastronomy one of its flagships.
