Msc Magnifica: Debuting the Exclusive Msc Yacht Club

MSC Cruises is preparing to write a new chapter in its history of innovation and hospitality, announcing a major refurbishment for one of its most beloved ships: MSC Magnifica.

Starting summer 2026, the ship will host, for the first time, the exclusive MSC Yacht Club — MSC’s award-winning all-inclusive luxury cruise concept. This significant upgrade will be achieved through a dry dock scheduled for completion by the end of 2025, which will also include the introduction of a revamped MSC Aurea Spa and a state-of-the-art Technogym fitness center.

With this project, MSC Magnifica becomes the last ship in the fleet to welcome the MSC Yacht Club, bringing a new level of elegance, privacy, and personalized service on itineraries that, for the first time, include Baltic and Scandinavian destinations departing from Warnemünde, Germany, as well as the highly anticipated MSC World Cruise of 2027. Sales are officially open and already promise to attract travelers seeking exclusive and memorable experiences.

Gianni Onorato, CEO of MSC Cruises, emphasized the strategic value of the transformation planned for MSC Magnifica, calling it “the largest refurbishment carried out in the last ten years.” He described it as a clear demonstration of the company’s ongoing commitment to offering the highest quality experience on every ship in the fleet. Onorato reiterated that the MSC Yacht Club is one of MSC’s flagship products, highly appreciated by guests for its excellent service, elegant surroundings, and the privacy of its dedicated facilities. The introduction of this exclusive hospitality concept on MSC Magnifica, he added, marks a crucial step to extend the luxury experience to new itineraries, enriching the offering with increasingly personalized and refined options.

The 63 suites of the new MSC Yacht Club on MSC Magnifica will be divided into five categories, designed to meet the needs of every type of traveler. They range from ocean-view balcony suites to connecting family suites, up to the sumptuous Royal Suite — a true luxury retreat that can accommodate up to six people and boasts a 78-square-meter terrace with panoramic views, private jacuzzi, and top-quality finishes including marble bathrooms, personalized linen sets, Nespresso coffee machines, and complimentary minibars.

Completing the experience, a dedicated restaurant will offer refined dishes and five-star service, with menus crafted by a culinary team available 24/7 and accompanied by a sommelier ready to recommend the best food and wine pairings. The Top Sail Lounge, located on the bow deck, will provide a sophisticated and relaxed environment, featuring large sea-facing windows and the perfect atmosphere for an evening cocktail or a peaceful break. The private solarium, with a pool, whirlpool, and cabanas, will be an ideal retreat for those seeking relaxation and privacy, without missing the chance to enjoy the sun and the sea views.

At the same time, the rest of the ship will benefit from the refurbishment. The MSC Aurea Spa will be completely renovated, covering nearly 270 square meters and offering a wide range of services designed for guest wellness: sea-view sauna, two Turkish baths, salt room, Kneipp path, sensory showers, and a relaxation area to enjoy infusions and rejuvenating herbal teas. Equally important will be the new Technogym fitness center on deck 14, equipped with the latest machines, yoga and spinning rooms, and a stunning panoramic view over the ship’s stern.

The introduction of the MSC Yacht Club on MSC Magnifica will be accompanied by a particularly rich and evocative range of itineraries to maximize the onboard experience. Starting May 16, 2026, the ship will sail from Warnemünde, Germany, on a series of Northern Europe cruises calling at some of the most fascinating Baltic and Scandinavian cities, including Rønne (Denmark), Riga (Latvia), Tallinn (Estonia), Stockholm (Sweden), and Kotka/Helsinki (Finland). During winter 2025/2026, MSC Magnifica will also offer five Mediterranean departures, with itineraries lasting from 3 to 8 nights and stops at iconic destinations such as Barcelona, Rome (Civitavecchia), and Marseille. Finally, in 2027, MSC Magnifica will star in the World Cruise. The 121-night journey will depart in early January from Civitavecchia, Genoa, Marseille, and Barcelona, visiting 45 destinations in 25 countries, including seven overnight stays in port for a deeper immersion in the visited locations.

With this ambitious transformation, MSC Cruises not only enhances the comfort and services offered onboard MSC Magnifica but also reaffirms its dedication to excellence.
