MSC and Formula 1 offer an unforgettable experience

During this year’s Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, MSC Crociere is partnering with Formula 1 to offer an unforgettable experience from November 24 to 26.

The goal is to provide a 360-degree Grand Prix experience that will give participants the thrill of the last race of the season onboard MSC Virtuosa, one of the company’s most beautiful and modern ships.

MSC Virtuosa, docked at the Abu Dhabi Cruise Terminal, will be the modern, charming and luxurious “hotel” that will welcome passengers on any of the proposed itineraries. They will stay in comfortable and elegant rooms and will be able to take advantage of the wide range of services available to them, restaurants, bars, two theaters, a shopping center and a fabulous promenade… not to mention the beautiful spa, the super-equipped gym, no fewer than five swimming pools, an interactive water park and large areas dedicated to children!

Two global leaders, MSC Crociere and Formula 1 Global Partner, signed this multi-year agreement last year. It is a win-win situation created to bring the two industries together to innovate through a shared passion for excellence, sustainability and world-class entertainment.

To be part of this amazing experience, you can choose from a variety of packages, available from March 15, 2023, that combine accommodations, race tickets and exclusive access to insider areas.

F1 Experiences” will make the race weekend an unforgettable experience.

Onboard MSC Virtuosa, Formula 1 fans will find elegant staterooms and suites with half board, free Wi-Fi and transfers to and from the track.

For those who already have tickets to the race, the packages also include a stateroom-only option, or the stateroom + Formula 1® Grandstand ticket option remains available.

For those seeking a more immersive experience, during the Formula 1 weekend you can choose the “Stateroom + F1 Experience”, which also includes exclusive trackside activities and premium all-inclusive hospitality (Turn 1 Suite, Paddock Club and Legend). This package includes exclusive access to special insider areas such as the Pit Lane Walk, a guided tour of the circuit in a van, a meeting with Formula 1 staff and much more.

The MSC Virtuosa, docked at the Abu Dhabi Cruise Terminal, will be very close to the circuit, making it easy for lucky guests to get around, thanks in part to the free transfers offered.

It is also important to note that the center of Abu Dhabi is also just a short distance from the dock, making MSC Virtuosa the perfect base for an unforgettable weekend. The ship will remain at the terminal from November 23 to 27, giving guests the opportunity to extend their stay.

But that’s not the end of the story; the experience will continue even after the fans have left the track and returned to the ship, as an ad-hoc program is also planned onboard, with themed parties and entertainment for young and old alike.

Gianni Onorato, CEO of MSC Crociere, said: “With this exclusive hospitality offer, we are combining the best of two worlds: Formula 1® and MSC Crociere. By working together, we are integrating the incredible atmosphere of the circuit with the exclusive atmosphere onboard our ships to create an unparalleled and truly memorable racing experience for fans of all ages.”

Stefano Domenicali, President and CEO of Formula 1, said: “We are delighted to join forces with MSC Crociere to offer fans a unique and unprecedented hospitality experience during the season finale of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix™. With luxury accommodations, exclusive access to insider areas and the convenience of all-in-one race packages, we are confident that this partnership will make for a truly memorable weekend.”

MSC Virtuosa can carry up to 6,334 passengers and is designed to offer guests a dynamic and amazing experience with innovative features and facilities, as well as being one of the most environmentally advanced ships in the MSC Crociere fleet.
