Costa: Club Cruise to Explore Morocco and Tunisia

Following the success of the first cruise dedicated to C|Club members, Costa Cruises is launching a new journey to discover the flavors of the Mediterranean, with exclusive experiences specially designed for guests enrolled in the loyalty program.

This unmissable event-vacation will last for two weeks, departing from Savona on September 23, 2023, aboard Costa Favolosa, and then heading to Civitavecchia/Rome, Palermo, Tunis (Tunisia), Cartagena (Spain), Tangier (Morocco), Casablanca (Morocco) with a day and a half stop to allow fantastic excursions to Marrakech, Cadiz (Spain), Malaga (Spain), Barcelona (Spain), Marseille (France), and returning to Savona on October 7.

During this extraordinary itinerary, guests will enjoy excellent gastronomic experiences, themed parties, unique shows, and truly unforgettable organized excursions.

Onboard, we’ll have exceptional guests such as Tony Hadley, who will perform his most famous hits, and 6 Michelin-star chef Hélène Darroze, who will present some never-before-tasted Destination Dishes, narrating the visited destinations through taste. The chef will also engage in spectacular show cooking sessions with C|Club members, allowing them to experience, through easy recipes and local ingredients, the creation of typical Moroccan and Tunisian dishes.

Regarding taste, during the cruise, guests will be delighted by the creations of Riccardo Bellaera, Corporate Pastry & Bakery Chef of Costa Cruises and collaborator of the master of international pastry, Iginio Massari.

As for immersing in the local culture, Destination Moments will be offered, a series of events and conferences on the history and use of the spices that make Morocco and Tunisia so special.

Onboard, there will also be traditional painting and decoration classes from the region, and the crew of Costa Favolosa will entertain guests with a Birthday Party dedicated to Costa Cruises’ 75th anniversary, as well as theme parties like “Desert Night” with fantastic experiences like tea ceremonies and henna ritual designs, and the “Mediterranean Celebration” to celebrate the traditions and street food of the Mare Nostrum.

Among the special guests onboard will be South African singer Talia Alexis, who will perform an international music show and pay tribute to Tina Turner, involving C|Club members in a fun singing challenge.

For this “fabulous” cruise, both in name and in reality, everything has been meticulously planned, including the unique excursions. Costa Cruises will undoubtedly not disappoint its guests, who will experience a true journey of the senses.
