Zadar Cruise Port Hosts Ferrari Cavalcade 2026

The worlds of Ferrari and luxury cruising came together on 2 July at Zadar Cruise Port, which welcomed one of the most prestigious ultra-luxury automotive experiences in the world: Ferrari Cavalcade 2026.

The event brought nearly 300 invited Ferrari collectors and clients to the city, arriving aboard the ultra-luxury cruise ship Explora II, while more than 120 Ferrari automobiles were prepared at Zadar Cruise Port for the Croatian leg of the journey. The arrival of Ferrari Cavalcade further strengthens Zadar’s reputation as a destination capable of hosting world-class luxury events, combining the exclusive Ferrari experience with the unique setting of the city’s cruise port.

Created for a select group of Ferrari clients, Cavalcade is one of the most exclusive and prestigious experiences organised by the Maranello-based brand, accessible exclusively by invitation. Since its debut in 2011, the event has brought the Ferrari world to some of the most renowned destinations internationally, including Tuscany, Venice, Monaco, Dubai, Kyoto, San Francisco and Patagonia.

The 2026 edition of Ferrari Cavalcade introduced a new cruise-based format, combining Ferrari’s renowned driving experience with the luxury of sailing across the Adriatic and Mediterranean aboard Explora II. Within this context, Zadar Cruise Port played a central role in the Croatian stage of the event, becoming the operational hub for one of the most significant experiences of the event in the Adriatic region. After disembarking from Explora II at the port, guests reunited with their Ferraris before departing in a spectacular procession through the historic district of Poluotok, creating one of the most important gatherings of Ferrari automobiles ever organised in the city. Surrounded by the centuries-old architecture of the peninsula and its waterfront, the convoy then continued south along some of Croatia’s most spectacular coastal roads.

According to Rebeka V. Pevec, MBA, General Manager of Zadar Cruise Port, hosting Ferrari Cavalcade represents a significant milestone for the port and the result of effective collaboration between the team, the partners involved and the local community. Delivering an event of such complexity required careful planning and flawless coordination, demonstrating the operational excellence of Zadar Cruise Port while offering the opportunity to showcase the very best of the city to one of the world’s most exclusive audiences.

Behind the organisation of Ferrari Cavalcade was a complex operational effort involving Zadar Cruise Port, Ferrari, Canossa Events, local authorities, ship agents, municipal services and logistics partners. More than 120 Ferrari automobiles were transported overnight to the port and carefully positioned along the cruise pier ahead of the arrival of guests aboard Explora II. The coordinated management of vehicle logistics, guest movements and maritime operations highlighted Zadar Cruise Port’s ability to operate on an international scale and meet the demanding standards required by one of the world’s most prestigious luxury brands. Beyond its operational success, the event also generated significant international visibility for both Zadar Cruise Port and the city itself.

Ferrari Cavalcade attracted an international audience of entrepreneurs, collectors and brand enthusiasts, gaining visibility through Ferrari’s official media channels and global digital platforms. The event also provided an opportunity to showcase Zadar’s historic waterfront, port infrastructure and cultural heritage, positioning the Adriatic destination within the context of major international events dedicated to luxury and excellence.
