Costa Smeralda

Costa Smeralda, a ship in the Helios class, is completely different with respect to the AIDAnova in terms of the distribution of the hotel areas onboard. Just like in the AIDAnova, the major technological innovation is the duel-fuel motor apparatus that allows the use of liquefied natural gas as a combustible. From the point of view of interior decorating there has been a complete change from the Costa ships of the past. The interior design was coordinated by Adam Tihany and is focused on the beauty of Italian style. A special mention to the open walkway on deck 8 that allows guests to come into close contact with the sea.
