The Costa Club 2024 Program Updates

The Costa Club is Costa Cruises‘ loyalty program with 5 levels and simple rules that will allow Costa members to easily accumulate points and enjoy increasingly growing privileges. Dedicated promotions and special initiatives throughout the year to live unique experiences, making the cruise experience even more extraordinary.

Costa Toscana

The main updates starting from May 2024 concern the free change of departure date for club members. This will incentivize Costa club members to maintain their booking without having to cancel it, with the aim of increasing customer satisfaction with greater booking flexibility. Departure advance must be requested at least 60 days prior to departure, and departure postponement must be requested at least 30 days in advance.

Another important update concerns the privileges reserved for Costa Members to obtain significant cabin upgrades. From 01/10/2024, the Upgrade privilege is valid for Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum category Members and is applicable on the second cruise and within the calculation period, if purchased at All Inclusive or Super All Inclusive rates, provided that the Member has not already enjoyed a Superupgrade in the same applicability period. The Upgrade consists of upgrading one cabin category up to a maximum of Balcony/Terrace.

From 01/10/2024, the Superupgrade privilege is valid for Gold and Platinum category Members but also for Bronze and Silver category Members, and is valid on the fourth cruise within the calculation period, if purchased at All Inclusive rates, provided that the Member has not already enjoyed an Upgrade in the same applicability period. The Superupgrade consists of upgrading the cabin category to the best available, starting from a minimum of purchased Outside cabin.

Other top privileges for members include special experiences throughout the cruise and during the year. Among these experiences, for Silver Members: One complimentary pizza at Pizzeria Pummid’Oro (excluding ‘Gourmet’ pizzas).

For Gold Members, a complimentary gastronomic experience of choice at Salty Beach (choose between ‘Focaccia Mix’ or ‘Burger Mix’) or a pizza at Pizzeria Pummid’Oro (excluding ‘Gourmet’ pizzas). If Salty Beach is not available on board, a different gastronomic experience will be offered depending on the ship.

Top privileges for Platinum level Members: the most prestigious. This level allows for a complimentary gastronomic experience of choice between Salty Beach (choose between ‘Focaccia Mix’ or ‘Burger Mix’), a pizza at Pizzeria Pummid’Oro (excluding ‘Gourmet’ pizzas), or lunch at Ristorante Archipelago, only on port days, excluding navigation days. On Costa Serena, Costa Fortuna, and World Cruise, the benefit is not available because Ristorante Archipelago is not present. Water and coffee are included; all other drinks are at an additional cost.
