Formerly Seabourn Spirit, Star Breeze joined the Windstar fleet in 2015. She is often remembered for the attack suffered by pirates off the Somali coast in 2005, where no passengers suffered any injuries anyway. Star Breeze is one of the company's three non-sailing cruise ships, offering a very different, but complementary product, similar to the one possible on a large luxurious yacht.

Elegance in Polynesia
My experience on the Star Breeze was very enjoyable. The ship stands out for its clean lines, well-organized spaces, and modern yet understated design, which feels comfortable without being over the top. The cabin was comfortable, with good beds and efficient use of space, while the public areas offer panoramic ocean views in bright and welcoming environments. During the cruise, visiting Moorea, Raiatea, Tahaa, Bora Bora, and Huahine, I appreciated how easy it was to move around on board and the quality of the services offered. The open deck is ideal for enjoying the scenery, and the restaurants offer a good variety of dishes in a refined yet informal setting. The staff was always helpful and courteous without being intrusive. Overall, the ship conveys a sense of order and attention to detail, making the voyage relaxing and pleasant.

Unforgettable experience aboard the Star Breeze in the waters of French Polynesia
The cruise on the Star Breeze was a true dream journey among some of the most fascinating islands of French Polynesia. Departing from Papeete, Tahiti, we sailed to the stunning Fakarava Atoll in the Tuamotus, then explored the remote Marquesas Islands of Fatu Hiva, Hiva Oa, and Nuku Hiva. After a stop at Rangiroa Atoll, we visited Tahaa and spent two unforgettable days in Bora Bora, finishing with a relaxing stop at Moorea before returning to Papeete. The embarkation was very efficient and welcoming, with courteous staff making the first contact with the ship simple and pleasant. Onboard, the service stood out for its great attention to detail: the crew was always available, professional, and attentive to guests’ needs, creating a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The cabins are spacious and comfortable, perfect for enjoying the unique Polynesian scenery. Disembarkation was also very well organized, making the return to shore stress-free.
