Description

A Jewel-class panamax ship, Norwegian Jade was born as a Pride of Hawaii for the NCL America brand and is therefore destined to serve in the Pacific. In 2008 it was transferred to Norwegian Cruise Line, while retaining its original over-coloured layout. Of course, it has been adapted to provide its passengers with freestyle, a trademark of NCL. It has recently undergone an intensive refit where its interiors have been modernised making the ship much more avant-garde. For years she was based in Venice in the summer.

Abbiamo scelto questa nave perchè toccava porti di scalo molto belli nonostante la nave non fosse italiana e leggermente piccola. La nota dolente è l'animazione, non all'altezza delle navi italiane

Avevo visto Norwegian Jade diversi anni prima. Devo dire che il rinnovamento è stato molto incisivo ma anche ben riuscito. L'atrio principale è molto elegante, così come anche il Bliss e altri ambienti minori. La nave ha assunto un aspetto meno colorato e festoso per "raffinarsi" e mettersi al passo con i tempi anche dal punto di vista dei servizi. Sempre positivo il Freestyle, anche su una nave inevitambilmente con meno scelte rispetto alle ultime generazioni della flotta. Una nave di dimensioni medie che a mio avviso permette di provare tutti gli elementi che contraddistinguono Norwegian Cruise Line senza calarsi in navi gigantesche.

Esperienza nelle isole greche in tarda primavera. Itinerario bellissimo, nave molto ben curata con ottimo servizio. Si mangia molto bene e ci tornerei senza dubbio. Anche i prezzi molto buoni per quanto offerto.
