Havila Castor

The Havila Castor, launched in 2022, is the second ship of the fleet and shares many features with the Capella. Also measuring 124 meters long and 22 meters wide, it can accommodate up to 640 passengers. Like its sister ship, the Castor is equipped with 6.1 MWh batteries and LNG engines, allowing up to 4 hours of emission-free sailing. This innovative system enabled the Castor to complete the first zero-emission cruise in the Geirangerfjord, a UNESCO World Heritage fjord. The interiors of the Castor offer an elegant and relaxed atmosphere, with modern cabins, restaurants serving local dishes, and common areas designed to maximize comfort and panoramic views.
