Sea Spirit: the treasures of Greenland

All travelers with an adventurous spirit can discover Greenland’s treasures aboard Sea Spirit, a small luxury expedition ship operated by Poseidon Expeditions, including icebergs, fjords, glaciers, wildlife and iconic Inuit culture.

Several itineraries will be available for polar travelers who want to discover the treasures of Greenland.

South and West Greenland

The expedition cruise starts in Reykjavík (Iceland) aboard Sea Spirit and explores the beautiful southwest of Greenland in 14 days. Passing Cape Farewell, the southernmost point of Greenland, you will see beautiful fjords and steep mountains. You can also discover ancient Viking and contemporary Inuit culture, explore picturesque settlements such as Qassiarsuk (founded in the 10th century by Eric the Red) and visit Nuuk, Greenland’s modern capital. Don’t miss the world’s largest icebergs at Ilulissat in Disko Bay.

East Greenland

East Greenland cruises take guests north from Reykjavík (Iceland) aboard Sea Spirit on an 11-15 day expedition. The highlight is Northeast Greenland National Park, the largest and northernmost national park in the world! But you will be able to see beautiful tundra landscapes, wildlife and ancient Thule archaeological sites, fjords, narrow passages and rock walls up to 2,000 meters high. In addition, this area is also best known for viewing the Northern Lights and cruises are arranged so you get the best opportunities to see them!

East Greenland, Svalbard and Iceland

The 15-day cruise starts in Longyearbyen (Svalbard) and ends in Reykjavík (Iceland), giving guests the opportunity to visit 3 iconic regions in one cruise! You will also be able to join the kayaking club, the best way to experience close-up exploration!

All that remains is to find the itinerary that best suits your adventurous spirit!
