Myths & Treasures: Silversea’s Winter Collection 25/26


Silversea Cruises has initiated an exclusive pre-sale for its winter travel collection, scheduled to run from September 2025 to April 2026, featuring over 150 new departures to more than 200 destinations.

The ultra-luxury ships will transport guests to highly coveted regions and rarely visited destinations, with nine inaugural stops and two new grand voyages promising even deeper immersion in Australia and the South Pacific.

Silversea‘s Winter Collection for 2025/2026 includes approximately 200 overnight stays and 260 extended stops to allow travelers to explore destinations more profoundly.

Highlights of the new collection comprise:

TWO NEW GRAND VOYAGES: AUSTRALIA AND THE SOUTH PACIFIC

– The Grand South Pacific Expedition 2025, aboard the Silver Cloud, embarks on a 75-day journey on August 20, 2025, from Fremantle (Perth) to arrive in Valparaiso on November 2. With visits to 11 countries in some of the planet’s most remote and unspoiled regions, guests will venture to destinations like the Fam Islands in Indonesia and Raja Ampat to snorkel amid colorful corals, explore mangroves, and connect with the local community. Other highlights among the 58 destinations of the journey include Easter Island, Chile; Rabaul, Papua New Guinea; Ambrym Island, Vanuatu; Aitutaki, the Cook Islands; Robinson Crusoe Island; Neiafu, Tonga, and more.

– The Grand Australia 2025, aboard the Silver Nova, will set sail from Melbourne on October 14 to November 30, 2025, for a 47-day grand voyage, marking Silversea‘s first circumnavigation of Australia, offering guests a deep dive into this diverse and enriching country. Visitors will explore 23 destinations, including Sydney, Broome, K’gari (formerly Fraser Island), Hobart (Tasmania), Kangaroo Island, and more, with seven overnight stays and four extended stops. Highlights of this immersive journey include the vibrant marine life of the Great Barrier Reef; iconic cities like Sydney and Adelaide; pearl farming in Broome; the history and culture of Aboriginal communities, with insights into Dreamtime storytelling; the country’s endemic wildlife, such as quokkas and Tasmanian devils; and unique culinary experiences, including winery visits, thanks to Silversea‘s S.A.L.T. culinary program.

THE NEWEST SHIPS UNDERTAKING 17 TRIPS IN AUSTRALIA

In the Southern Hemisphere summer of 2025/2026, Silversea will position its newest ships in Australia and New Zealand, with 17 voyages aboard the Silver Nova and Silver Moon, visiting 43 destinations and offering richer experiences. The Silver Nova will embark on Silversea’s inaugural circumnavigation of Australia, while the Silver Moon will undertake eight iconic itineraries ranging from 13 to 15 days, with most including an overnight stay in Hobart, Tasmania. The Silver Nova will make inaugural stops in Robe, on the Australian limestone coast, and North Port, Marsden Point, New Zealand. Other unique departures will include trips to the picturesque fjords of Milford and Doubtful Sound. Exceptional experiences include an overview of the fishing and whaling history of Eden, the opportunity to visit an oyster farm and partake in a tasting on the Pambula River, an exclusive night tour of the Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary in Hobart to see Tasmanian devils, quolls, wombats, koalas, kangaroos, and wallabies, a gastronomic experience in the Waikato region from Tauranga, and a journey along the coast of K’gari (formerly Fraser Island) to explore the vast sand biosphere.

38 ANTARCTIC EXPEDITIONS ABOARD THREE SHIPS, WITH MORE TRIPS TO SOUTH GEORGIA AND THE FALKLAND ISLANDS

With its extensive experience, Silversea has pushed boundaries by scheduling 38 expeditions to the White Continent for the winter of 2025/2026, taking guests deeper than ever before. This includes six-day fly and cruise journeys aboard three ships and a series of 18-night departures that will unlock the best of the Antarctic Ocean, including South Georgia and the Falkland Islands.

INCREASED PRESENCE IN THE CARIBBEAN AND CENTRAL AMERICA, WITH 43 DEPARTURES ABOARD FOUR SHIPS AND TWO NEW HOMEPORTS

Four ships will embark on 43 cruises in the Caribbean and Central America in the winter of 2025/2026, offering a wide range of immersive experiences. The Silver Ray, with itineraries to and from Fort Lauderdale, will travel the classic Silversea routes in the eastern Caribbean, while a brand-new program aboard the Silver Spirit will take travelers deep into the southern Caribbean, with stops in Bequia, Willemstad, Curaçao, Oranjestad, Aruba, and Kralendijk, Bonaire. The Silver Shadow, on the other hand, will grant access to rarely visited destinations, including Soufriere and Trois Islets. Philipsburg (St. Maarten) and Cartagena will serve as homeports for the first time for Silversea.

Other highlights include 25 trips aboard the Silver Origin to the Galapagos, with two seven-day journeys; seven journeys to South America, including three panoramic Antarctic cruises aboard the Silver Whisper; six trips to Africa and the Indian Ocean, with opportunities for safaris in South Africa; and five departures with stops in 14 Asian destinations aboard the Silver Nova and Silver Moon, offering the opportunity to witness Japan’s famous cherry blossoms in full bloom and longer stays in iconic cities like Tokyo and Osaka.
