Die WILDERNESS LEGACY wurde 1983 als PILGRIM BELLE für Kreuzfahrten in den nordamerikanischen Küstengewässern gebaut. In der Folge fuhr sie unter den Namen COLONIAL EXPLORER (bis 1988), VICTORIAN EMPRESS (bis 2011), SPIRIT OF 98 (bis 2012), SAFARI LEGACY (bis 2013) und LEGACY (bis 2020).
Die WILDERNESS LEGACY kreuzt für die US-amerikanische Reederei UnCruise Adventures vorwiegend in den Gewässern Alaskas.

My Experience Aboard the Wilderness Legacy
Boarding the Wilderness Legacy from Juneau was truly a wonderful experience. As soon as I stepped on board, the crew welcomed us warmly—with smiles, casual introductions, and a welcome drink in the main lounge, all in a cozy, friendly atmosphere. Each day felt like a new chapter. One morning, we woke up surrounded by the icebergs of LeConte Glacier—it felt like we were floating through a lunar landscape. At Kuiu Island, I chose to go on a kayaking excursion. The excursions were optional and designed for all activity levels: from the most adventurous to those who preferred to stay on deck and enjoy the scenery. What struck me the most was the authenticity of the experience. If you're looking for an adventure that combines comfort, immersion in nature, and genuine human connection, then this cruise is the perfect choice.
