Luxury and Tranquility at Sea

I traveled with Aroya in September, departing from Istanbul for a cruise through the heart of the Aegean, and I must say it was an experience that truly exceeded my expectations. The ship is modern, elegant, with a relaxing atmosphere and impeccable service. I was especially impressed by the attention to detail: spacious cabins, excellent food with a variety of cuisines (including Arabic and Mediterranean), and plenty of relaxation areas, from the spa to the panoramic pool. The itinerary was well-balanced: Bodrum, Rhodes, two days in Mykonos, and finally Athens, with enough time to explore each destination without the rush typical of more touristy cruises. But the real highlight was life on board. What I appreciated the most was the sense of calm: wide open spaces, no queues, attentive but never intrusive staff. Each day flowed at a pleasant pace, with sea-view breakfasts, relaxing moments on deck, and thoughtful little touches—like towels ready by the loungers or fresh fruit served

The basic WiFi was poor

I never tried other international cruises but what I found in this cruise for Muslims or any faith that encourages modesty was astonishing. They have special timings for ladies at the pool, gym, and spa if female guests prefer that. However, if you wish you still can swim at any time wearing any type of swim suit. You will see the guests different styles ranging from bikini to burkini ( a modest swim suit). The ship also has prayer rooms for both genders. My kids had a blast with many different activities and entertainment on the ship. Most of the activities were tailored to families. I didn’t try the specialty restaurants. The complementary restaurant and buffet were amazing for all types of diets. As a family visiting Alexandria for the first time we tried one of the tours recommended by Aroya and it was very convenient and well organized, took us from the port and returned us back. I recommend this cruise and I will definitely go with them again and try different itineraries.

J’ai participé à une mini-croisière à bord de l’AROYA de Djeddah à Charm el-Cheikh, et j’en suis revenu enchanté ! L’itinéraire, bien que court, était plein de charme : des eaux cristallines de la mer Rouge aux escales chargées d’atmosphère. Mais le véritable point fort du voyage a été la gastronomie. À bord, chaque repas était une surprise : des plats raffinés, inspirés de la cuisine locale et internationale, toujours frais et soigneusement préparés. Le service en salle à manger était impeccable, avec un personnel attentionné et chaleureux. Une petite croisière qui a su offrir de grandes émotions.
