Viking Alruna

Viking Alruna, constructed in 2016, has a length of 135 meters and accommodates up to 190 passengers and 50 crew members. It offers 95 spacious cabins divided into 5 categories, spread across 4 decks. Onboard, you'll find a restaurant, a library, a bar/lounge, the Aquavit Terrace, and a sun deck with a 360° view, a shaded seating area, and a walking track. Laundry service and free Wi-Fi are also available.
The name comes from Norse mythology. Alruna (Ölrún in Old Norse) was one of the three Valkyries who spun linen on the shores of the Lake of Wolves. She was spotted by three brothers living nearby, and she lived with Egil, one of the brothers, for seven winters until she flew away to fight, never to return.
