The Viking Libra is a small cruise ship designed to offer exclusive experiences for just 998 guests, allowing access to ports that larger ships cannot reach. With a length of 239 meters and a beam of 31 meters, it belongs to the “small ships” category. Accommodations include Veranda Staterooms and spacious Explorer Suites, all furnished with the understated elegance characteristic of Viking style, along with numerous additional amenities designed to ensure comfort and functionality. A distinctive feature of the ship is the dining room, which can be transformed into an al fresco dining area thanks to large floor-to-ceiling sliding windows.

Innovative onboard technologies include energy-saving engines, solar panels on the upper deck, and a low-impact waste system. The propeller shaft uses seawater to lubricate the bearings, reducing maintenance costs and the risk of pollution. Instead of biodegradable oils, the water is discharged directly into the sea, making the ship more sustainable.
