The second ship in the "Vista" class, Oosterdam is characterised by the panoramic lifts on its sides which provide a spectacular view of the sea. Its interior decoration is elegant and in keeping with the company's style; thanks to its covered lido it is a ship suitable for all types of climates. During its operational life it has undergone several upgrades to keep up with the times. More cabins have been added, as well as "The Retreat" outdoor relaxation area, now a trademark of Holland America Line.
