Wish to Set Sail? Nothing Compares to Star Clippers

This Holiday Season, These Magnificent Sailing Ships are a Sailor’s Dream Come True.

Star Clipper’s three Tall Ships are unique in and of themselves. Royal Clipper is the largest and only five masted full-rigged Sailing Ship in the world.  Her fleet mates, Star Clipper and Star Flyer are only slightly smaller.  All three are thoroughly modern cruise ship with every possible amenity.  They were created for passengers whose tastes for luxury are matched only by the love of the traditions and romance of legendary sailing ships of the past.  The comparison to sailing on private yachts is not misplaced here.  That is if your private yacht comes with 2 or 3 swimming pools, up to 19,000 square feet of open deck and a crew dedicated to pampering every guest.

This Christmas and next, you can start a new Holiday tradition aboard Star Clippers.

Star Clippers will embark on a selection of week-long sailings over Christmas and New Year’s. They will sail the waters of some of the most desirable yacht destinations in the world. And everything will be done to make this the most memorable holiday season ever.  And everyone is invited—families, couples and solo travelers alike.  Leaving behind all the Christmas shopping, cooking and hosting, Star Clippers’ guests will instead spend their time lounging on beautiful beaches, exploring local culture and spending time with family and new-found friends. They’ll sample delicious cuisine in Star Clippers Open Seating Restaurants with nary a tie in sight. If the day includes a stop at one of the paradisiacal islands they frequent, they’ll be treated to a beach barbecue ashore.  Meanwhile their accommodations aboard ship are superbly designed and elegantly furnished. Aboard Royal Clipper there are even cabins with private verandas.

Four Sailings will make this a very Caribbean Holiday this year.

Flagship Royal Clipper sets sail on December 18, 2021 from Barbados on an 8-day itinerary. Taking in the untrammeled Grenadines she sails to Captain’s Best, Grenada, Tobago Cays, St.
Vincent and Mayreau.  Then it’s on to exotic Fort-de-France, Martinique where a second day on the island is spent on a blissful beach.  Christmas Day itself in spent in stunning St. Lucia. Then it’s back to Bridgetown and home with memories of an extraordinary Holiday. Meanwhile her sister ship, Star Flyer will take her 170 passengers on an 8-day Treasure Island Christmas Cruise.

Sailing from St. Maarten, her itinerary explores the British Virgin Islands, arguably one of the world’s premiere yachting destinations.  After a day in Anguilla, Star Flyer proceeds to Jost van Dyke, Tortola, Norman Island and Virgin Gorda.  There’s a full day of sailing the Sir Francis Drake Channel and another Beach Day.  Next on the list, the Dive Capital of Saba and the charms of St. Kitts.  And on Christmas Day, Star Clipper will join the mega yachts that favor French St. Barthelemy over every other port in the Caribbean.  Next day it’s back to St. Maarten and home. New Year’s brings even more excitement.

Royal Clipper sails her Windward Islands New Year Cruise to St. Lucia, Dominica, Antigua, St. Kitts and Martinique. Star Clipper embarks on her Leeward Island New Year Cruise to Nevis, Dominica, Iles des Saintes, Guadeloupe, Antigua, and St. Bart’s. The real excitement for passengers on both Star Clippers will be when these sailing ships race on another off the coast of Iles des Saintes and then proudly sail together.

Tis the Season in Thailand as Star Flyer sails two 8-day cruises from magical Southeast Asia

While not on most Christmas shoppers lists, the Adventure loving traveler will revel in these voyages.  With just 170 like-minded travelers, they will embark on Star Flyer’s  Phuket to Singapore Christmas Sailing. Leaving behind the bright lights of Phuket, Star Flyer ventures to less touristed, more remote ports in Thailand.

Star Clipper will drop anchor in Similian Islands, Phang Nga Bay, Ko Hong, Ko Rok Nok, Ko Adang before visits to Penang, Malaysia and spending Christmas Day in Malacca. The voyage ends in the extraordinary city of Singapore. Star Flyer’s Singapore to Phuket New Year’s Sailing visits all same ports in reverse ringing in the New Year on tiny Ko Hong island.
