Seabourn, the luxury ocean cruise and expedition company, invites travelers on an unforgettable journey around the world with its ” 2024 World Cruise: Extraordinary Horizons,” a 145-day voyage aboard Seabourn Sojourn, visiting 72 extraordinary destinations and ports in 28 countries on five continents.

Seabourn Sojourn will depart Los Angeles on Jan. 11, 2024, and visit Hawaii, the South Pacific Islands, New Zealand, Australia and numerous destinations in Asia, Arabia, Egypt and the Holy Land, before concluding the round-the-world voyage in Athens, Greece, on June 5, 2024. For guests who cannot make the entire 145-day journey, shorter legs ranging from 22 to 89 days are also available.

The 2024 World Cruise will go on sale October 13, 2021, and the entire itinerary is available on Seabourn‘s website.

“Our 2024 round-the-world voyage aboard Seabourn Sojourn promises to be an extraordinary journey across the globe. Whether guests book the entire 145-day voyage or join us on one of the many available segments, guests can look forward to visiting many of the world’s most prized destinations and having the opportunity to immerse themselves in different cultures,” said Josh Leibowitz, president of Seabourn.

“Booking a round-the-world cruise with Seabourn for 2024 offers a truly unparalleled opportunity to explore the world with the No. 1 cruise line.”

The World Cruise will include two of the line’s most popular events available to all guests on a complimentary basis: an extravagant Caviar in the Surf beach barbecue on the pristine white sand beach of Ko Kood, Thailand; and “Evening at Ephesus” in Kusadasi, Turkey, featuring a private classical music concert in the ancient ruins under the stars.

A sampling of destination highlights includes Sydney, featuring the Great Barrier Reef and Queensland coastline; Wonders of Japan, Korea and China; Treasures of Southeast Asia; Egypt, Petra and the Suez Canal; The Holy Land and the Aegean Empires.

The line is planning a series of optional shore excursions to more than 25 ports designated as UNESCO World Heritage Sites through its exclusive official cruise partnership with UNESCO. World Cruise 2024 will also include a series of optional mid-trip shore excursions in which guests disembark at one port and join the ship at another port, providing them with a more in-depth experience in certain destinations.

Guests who book the entire 145-day voyage by May 31, 2023, will receive some additional benefits. In addition, the line is offering a special 5% discount for repeat World Cruise guests.
