Scenic launches its largest collection of voyages

Scenic has launched its most comprehensive collection of ultra-luxury voyages aboard its Discovery Yachts, unveiling the new Worldwide Voyages and Land Journeys 2028-2029 program.

The new season, spanning all seven continents and including over 100 countries and 600 ports of call, will offer guests the opportunity to experience journeys ranging from polar regions to historic coastlines, from vibrant cultural capitals to remote and rarely visited destinations, in a global itinerary designed to provide an authentic and immersive exploration.

One of the most anticipated highlights is undoubtedly the arrival of Scenic Ikon, which from April 2028 will bring the number of the company’s Discovery Yachts to three, joining Scenic Eclipse and Scenic Eclipse II. Thanks to this fleet expansion, Scenic will offer an even wider choice of ultra-luxury all-inclusive ocean cruises, combining innovative design, cutting-edge technology, and exclusive itineraries in some of the world’s most spectacular destinations. Meanwhile, interest in the inaugural season of Scenic Ikon continues to grow rapidly, with several initial departures already sold out across itineraries in the Mediterranean, Aegean, Adriatic, and Antarctica.

The 2028/29 program further reinforces Scenic’s philosophy of premium inclusions and elevated services across selected suite categories. All guests will enjoy included Scenic Discovery and Scenic Freechoice excursions, while bookings eligible for Super Earlybird offers will also receive a complimentary scenic helicopter experience, further expanding the concept of exploration beyond the coastline and offering spectacular perspectives on the destinations visited. Guests selecting higher suite categories will benefit from additional personalised experiences, including a private jet upgrade from Buenos Aires to Ushuaia on Antarctica sailings. In addition, selected departures in Europe and the Americas include private chauffeur airport transfers and customisable private excursions.

Among the program highlights is also the return of Scenic Eclipse II to the South Pacific region, with itineraries including Australia, Kimberley, and the East Antarctica Ross Sea. The vessel’s return follows the strong success recorded in the 2024 and 2025 seasons, confirming the growing demand for ultra-luxury experiences in some of the world’s most spectacular and remote destinations. Demand for Scenic Eclipse 2028/29 voyages has also reached record levels during pre-registration, while the Kimberley season is already showing strong demand following the sell-out success of the 2025 program.

Tom Batchelor, Vice President Deployment, Product & Port Operations – Ocean, highlighted how the new collection represents another step forward in Scenic’s leadership in the ultra-luxury exploration segment. According to Batchelor, the 2028/29 program is set to be an outstanding season for the brand: with three Discovery Yachts in operation, guests will benefit from an even broader choice of destinations and travel styles, experiencing the world through a fully all-inclusive ultra-luxury journey. He also noted that the arrival of Scenic Ikon marks a new evolution of the Discovery Yacht fleet, while the return of Scenic Eclipse II to Australia, Kimberley, Asia, the South Pacific, and East Antarctica will open new opportunities to explore both iconic destinations and lesser-known regions.

To mark the launch of the new collection, Scenic has also introduced the Expeditions Voyages & Land Journeys brochure, already available online, dedicated to ultra-luxury cruises in Antarctica and the Arctic and enriched with land extensions across South America, Greenland, Iceland, and Northern Europe. A second brochure, due by the end of May, will focus on itineraries in Europe, the Mediterranean, the Americas, Australia, and Oceania, including their respective land extensions.

Scenic Group further distinguishes itself as the only operator to design, build, own, and operate its entire portfolio of ocean cruises, river cruises, and land journeys directly, ensuring a seamlessly integrated experience under a single brand. This model enables the group to respond to the growing demand for transformative travel and authentic cultural immersion, taking guests beyond traditional routes to some of the world’s most extraordinary destinations.

Among the most compelling itineraries in the new program is Andaman Passage: Singapore to the Malay Coast, a Signature Yacht Cruise aboard Scenic Eclipse II exploring Southeast Asia. Departing from Singapore, the journey visits hidden islands and culturally rich cities, with stops in George Town, Penang, Langkawi, Phuket, Pangkor, Kuala Lumpur, and Malacca. The experience is enhanced by Scenic Freechoice excursions and exclusive Scenic Enrich events throughout the voyage.

For those seeking Northern European exploration, Ultimate Voyage: Amsterdam to Bergen & the Norwegian Fjords offers a 19-day itinerary combining two Signature Yacht Cruises into one experience. From Amsterdam, the route crosses the Kiel Canal and passes through key Scandinavian cities such as Copenhagen, Helsingborg, Aarhus, Aalborg, and Gothenburg, before continuing to the spectacular Norwegian fjords of Eidfjord, Rosendal, Flåm, and Nordfjord.

With Northern Frontiers: Iceland to Greenland’s National Parks, Scenic Eclipse takes guests deep into the Arctic’s most remote regions. This Expedition Voyage connects Iceland with Greenland’s vast fjord systems and the Northeast Greenland National Park, accompanied by a Discovery Team of up to 20 experts guiding every stage of the exploration.

Finally, guests can experience raw wilderness on Discover the Kimberley Coastline: An Ancient Wilderness, an 11-day journey along Australia’s Kimberley coast aboard Scenic Eclipse II. With dramatic gorges, tidal rivers, seasonal waterfalls, and authentic encounters with Indigenous communities, guests explore one of the world’s oldest and most remote landscapes, enhanced by the ship’s two on-board helicopters.

With the new Worldwide Voyages and Land Journeys 2028-2029 program, Scenic strengthens its vision of ultra-luxury exploration, focusing on increasingly immersive experiences, high-end all-inclusive services, and exclusive itineraries designed to take guests to the world’s most remote and captivating destinations.
