Riverside Luxury Cruises: new voyages for 2025

Riverside Luxury Cruises has announced new voyages for 2025, featuring over 170 departures across 52 distinct itineraries, ranging from 3 to 23 nights, aboard Riverside Debussy, Riverside Ravel, and Riverside Mozart.

A highlight of 2025 will be the combined itineraries aboard Riverside Debussy and Riverside Ravel, offering guests extended cruises of up to 19 nights, exploring the Rhine and Rhône rivers respectively. Riverside Debussy will also sail on the Main and Moselle rivers and join Riverside Mozart on the picturesque Danube River. All three ships will feature extended stops, including overnights in Europe’s most captivating cities, allowing guests to thoroughly explore the destinations.

Jen Halboth, CEO of Riverside Luxury Cruises, has highlighted the wealth of opportunities in the company’s 2025 portfolio, offering guests various exploration opportunities accompanied by Riverside’s luxury service, including excellent cuisine, high-touch service, and onboard spa facilities aboard the fleet’s most spacious and beautiful ships.

Riverside Debussy, newly inaugurated, will begin its second year of service on April 2 with a 7-night journey during the tulip bloom season in the Dutch countryside, starting from Amsterdam, Netherlands, and visiting Arnhem, Nijmegen, Antwerp, Ghent, Middleburg, Veere, Dordrecht, and Rotterdam. Riverside Ravel and Riverside Mozart will begin sailing on April 10 and April 17 respectively. Riverside Ravel will embark on 3-night cruises from Lyon to Avignon, with visits to Viviers, Tarascon, and Arles, while Riverside Mozart will take guests on an Easter journey on the Danube River from Passau, Germany, to Budapest, Hungary, visiting Ybbs, Melk, and Bratislava, Slovakia, and spending Easter Sunday in Vienna, Austria.

Throughout the year, the three ships will continue to offer cruises along Europe’s most important rivers. Riverside Debussy sails along the Rhine, Main, and Moselle rivers during the spring and summer seasons, exploring medieval castles, picturesque and charming cities, and dramatic wine valleys with seven-night itineraries departing from Amsterdam and Basel, Switzerland. From mid-September, it will offer cruises on the Rhine and Main rivers with 7-night trips from Amsterdam to Nuremberg, traversing a 106-mile stretch of the Main-Danube Canal in Bavaria. Travelers can also choose shorter trips ranging from 3 to 6 nights with cruises departing from Amsterdam, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Trier, and Basel, Switzerland.

Riverside Mozart will showcase a variety of itineraries ranging from 3 to 7 nights between Passau and Budapest, taking guests to captivating Bavarian, Austrian, Slovak, and Hungarian cities and towns with stops in the historic and picturesque Wachau Valley in Austria, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. At the end of May, it will embark on two segments of 3 nights each along the Lower Danube from Budapest to the Iron Gates in Serbia, combinable with the subsequent 4-night return itinerary to Budapest.

Riverside Debussy will reach Riverside Mozart on the Danube River in autumn with a 7-night journey from Nuremberg to Budapest, to admire Europe’s deepest and longest gorge flanked by the Carpathian and Balkan hills; medieval fortresses and castles of the Roman, Ottoman, and Habsburg empires; and cultures and cities once veiled behind the Iron Curtain. In this case, the itineraries will be combinable to experience a 15-night adventure from Budapest, or to cross Europe from the Black Sea to the North Sea on a grand 23-night journey departing on October 7 from Giurgiu to Amsterdam.

Riverside Ravel will instead offer itineraries of 4, 5, and 7 nights on the Rhône River between Lyon and Avignon, with visits to Arles, Viviers, Tain L’Hermitage, Chateauneuf-du-Pape, Tarascon, Port St. Louis, and Vienne. It will then venture onto the Saône River in eight summer and autumn cruises to explore the wine regions of Côte Chalonnaise and Mâconnais in Burgundy. Riverside Ravel will conclude 2025 with a 4-night itinerary departing on November 21 from Lyon to Avignon.

For the Christmas holidays, at the end of November, Riverside Mozart will offer trips to discover the Christmas markets for 3 and 4 nights along the Danube, with departures from Vienna, Passau, and Budapest. Departing from Vienna on December 20, a 6-night cruise will celebrate Christmas Eve in Passau, or departing on December 26 to celebrate the New Year in Bratislava and enjoy New Year’s Day with an overnight stay in Vienna on a 7-night journey.

Riverside Debussy will instead offer Christmas itineraries of 3 nights in Germany along the Rhine, Main, and Moselle rivers, concluding 2025 with a 10-night Christmas and New Year’s Eve cruise from Basel to Amsterdam, spending Christmas Eve in Strasbourg and celebrating the New Year with two nights in Amsterdam.

A 2025 certainly rich in alternatives both in terms of destinations and duration to meet everyone’s needs.
