Paul Gauguin Cruises: Polynesia 2022 unveiled

Paul Gauguin Cruises presents its new 2022 French Polynesia itineraries for the 2022 season and begins sales on 5 exclusive itineraries on board the recently renovated Paul Gauguin to discover the marvels of the archipelago in the Pacific.

New itineraries have been created to discover the wonders of the paradise on earth in the area of the Society Islands, the Cook Islands, through Tahiti, the Tuamotus and the Marquesas.

On board the Paul Gauguin there will be many activities offered, including: swimming, scuba diving, kayaking, paddle boarding and even snorkeling but it will also be possible to enjoy a traditional Polynesian barbeque on the private island of Motu Mahana.

The premium service and the refined gastronomy get their inspiration from the Polynesian lifestyle. There are 166 cabins and suites on the Paul Gauguin and the ship was specifically designed for navigating in the Polynesian waters as it has a shallow draft that allows it to get as close to shore as possible even in shallow lagoons.

At the initiative of Ponant, the ship’s new parent company, Paul Gauguin Cruises carried out a major renovation of the ship. The interior design has been reimagined to evoke the elegance of the South Seas and islands of the South Pacific. In line with its commitment to responsible tourism, Ponant has made significant investments to equip the ship with the latest technological innovations with a view to environmental sustainability.

Among the exclusive itineraries proposed for the 2022 season by Paul Gauguin Cruises are the following:

Tahiti and the Society Islands: discover the beauty of Huahine, the turquoise waters of Motu Mahana and explore the summits and lagoons of Bora Bora. The duration of this itinerary is 7 nights, departing from Papeete.
