Emerald Cruises: A Deeper Dive into Europe

Emerald Cruises expands the itineraries of its 2024 European river cruise collection. Guests will be able to enjoy a tour and stay, including a typical European breakfast, both before and after their cruise.

The 10-day Sensations of Lyon & Provence with Paris cruise will combine an exploration of Provence with an extended experience in the French capital. Guests can take a canoe excursion in Avignon, explore the vineyards of Tournon with a guided tour, and visit the site of one of France’s most famous wine auctions, the Hospices de Beaune. Additionally, they can enjoy a two-night stay in Paris, with an optional guided tour of the French capital and a Seine river cruise. The next departure is scheduled for October 4, 2025, with flights from all major UK airports, transfers, meals, and excursions included in the price.

Furthermore, the 11-day Classic Prague & Danube Delights cruise expands Emerald Cruises’ popular Danube Delights itinerary. The guided walking tour through the historic center will conclude at the famous Astronomical Clock in Old Town Square. Guests will then enjoy a Bavarian sausage tasting in Regensburg and a two-night stay in Budapest. The itinerary also includes a traditional folk show on board and a climb to Gellert Hill for a panoramic view of the city. As with other itineraries, the costs for the next departure on October 15, 2024, include flights from all major UK airports, transfers, meals, and excursions.

Nick Hughes, Sales – Strategy & Partnership Director of Scenic UK, emphasizes the remarkable nature of the expanded European river cruise collection by Emerald Cruises. Specialized local tour operators are ready to offer guests a deeper immersion into the culture and lifestyle of the visited cities. Additionally, the company continues to work on strengthening relationships with partner agents in the coming months.
