Costa Venezia: from Istanbul to Greece and Turkey

The cruises on board Costa Venezia in Turkey and Greece make their debut from Istanbul on May 1st. This is an absolute novelty in the current panorama of organized holidays, which sees the collaboration between Costa Cruises, Turkish Airlines, the National Tourism Organization of Turkey and Galataport of Istanbul.

The proposed formula is that of the “flight + cruise” package, available from all major European countries, with Turkish Airlines scheduled flights, which will allow you to comfortably reach Istanbul, and then embark aboard Costa Venezia from the new Galataport cruise terminal, equipped with all the comforts and services for the latest generation ships.

“Our program to restart operations for the summer is strengthened with a truly unique offer. The main novelty of Costa Venezia cruises is the opportunity to visit the best of Turkey in a single holiday, starting from Istanbul, one of the most beautiful cities in the world. “ – declared Mario Zanetti, General Manager of Costa Cruises.

Costa Venezia’s program in Turkey includes three different itineraries, all with embarkation and disembarkation in Istanbul, designed to include longer stops in ports.

In spring, summer and autumn, from 1 May to 13 November 2022, Costa Venezia will offer two one-week itineraries dedicated to Turkey and Greece, alternating between them, which can be combined into a single 15-day “super tour”, with 8 stops in port for more than 10 hours.

  • The first itinerary is ideal for those who want to explore the best of Turkey and Greece in a single vacation. It includes a two-day and one night stopover in Istanbul, the beautiful Turkish destinations of Izmir and Bodrum, the island of Mykonos and Athens in Greece.
  • The second itinerary allows you to calmly explore the best of Turkey and some places in Greece that are out of the ordinary. It includes two stops of two days and one night in Istanbul and Kusadasi, Turkey, before heading to the discovery of Rhodes and Heraklion, Greece.

In winter 2022-23, Costa Venezia will propose a third itinerary, of 12 days, in Turkey, Egypt, Israel and Cyprus, which will allow you to visit Istanbul, with a stop of two days and one night, Bodrum, Limassol, Haifa, always with a stopover of two days and one night, Alexandria of Egypt and Kusadasi. From spring 2023 the two itineraries in Turkey and Greece will resume.

The range of excursions available has been redesigned to explore hidden and less frequented gems, and to enjoy the most authentic traditions, flavors and colors. As in the case of the excursions signed by National Geographic Expeditions, realized in collaboration with the Tour Operator Kel 12, which allow you to discover unique places accompanied by unique people. These include the possibility of attending a private concert in a Roman amphitheater in Ephesus; experience Istanbul at night; take a cruise on the Bosphorus; sleep in the typical houses carved into the rock in the lunar landscapes of Cappadocia; relax in the natural pools of Pamukkale;
