AmaWaterways Announces the 2024 Latin Touch Cruise

To meet the increasing demand for river cruises among the Hispanic population, AmaWaterways has announced the new date for the 2024 Latin Touch cruise, departing on October 27th aboard AmaMagna. This special cruise will be the third in a series dedicated to Spanish-speaking travelers.

The seven-night itinerary, “Magna on the Danube,” cruises along the legendary Danube River from Budapest, Hungary, to Vilshofen, Germany. It will be led by a bilingual Cruise Manager and includes daily tours with Spanish-speaking guides and daily cruise programs in Spanish. In line with AmaWaterways’ renowned culinary and wellness offerings, the Latin Touch cruise will also feature Spanish menus for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, Zumba lessons, and two evenings of Latin-inspired entertainment.

“It’s exciting to see the success our Latin Touch cruises receive each year, and we are proud to host the 2024 cruise aboard the magnificent AmaMagna,” said Kristin Karst, co-founder and executive vice president of AmaWaterways. “We want all our guests to feel at home on our ships, and our Latin Touch cruises allow our Spanish-speaking guests to discover fascinating countries alongside expert Spanish-speaking guides, creating unforgettable memories with their loved ones.”

The “Latin Touch” cruise invites travelers to embrace the wonders of Hungary, Slovakia, Austria, and Germany. Exclusive experiences are also available during this cruise, such as a daytime panoramic cruise through Hungary’s beautiful Danube Bend, an included excursion to Vienna’s Schönbrunn Palace and Gardens, and a visit to the charming wine village of Spitz, with options for walking or biking through the town and an exclusive evening wine tasting.

Twice as wide as traditional European river cruise ships, AmaMagna offers more personal space, dining options, and leisure opportunities for travelers. Featuring beautiful and spacious balcony suites, AmaMagna is the perfect floating boutique hotel for the Latin Touch voyage. As a highlight of this itinerary, guests can enjoy Spanish-inspired wellness and entertainment lessons while relaxing in the heated pool and whirlpool on the ship’s sun deck, the Zen Wellness Studio, and other spaces.

“As we continue to welcome an increasing number of Latin American guests aboard our ships each year, we are pleased to offer the Latin Touch cruises,” said Alex Pinelo, Senior Vice President of Sales at AmaWaterways. “We want to ensure our guests have a memorable river cruise experience with deeply personalized and tailor-made service. Our Latin Touch cruise is the perfect example, and we look forward to welcoming our Spanish-speaking guests aboard AmaMagna.”
