Beachcomber: the bar and lounge experience expands

Margaritaville at Sea has announced the expansion of its bar and lounge offerings aboard Beachcomber, the brand’s new ship set to sail from PortMiami in early 2027.

The ship will feature a thoughtfully curated beverage program designed to suit every taste and to offer unique social experiences across a variety of settings, ranging from speakeasy-style hideaways and lively lounges to relaxing poolside bars. Each venue will have a distinct identity, with menus, atmosphere, and music blending seamlessly to give guests a different experience in every corner of the ship.

Beachcomber will combine some of the brand’s most popular guest favorites, such as Hemisphere Dancer Craft Spirits, License to Chill Bar, and the iconic 5 o’Clock Somewhere Bar, with new venues designed to surprise and entertain, creating a range of experiences that span from intimate settings to lively social gatherings, from relaxation to vibrant energy.

Among the most intriguing new additions, the ship will feature Cowboy in the Jungle, a hidden speakeasy offering the most intimate cocktail experience on board. Draped in velvet and with limited seating, the venue will draw inspiration from South American traditions and will present a menu centered on rum and agave spirits, featuring creative cocktails and elaborate presentations. The bar will operate on a first-come, first-served basis, offering guests an exclusive retreat to enjoy handcrafted drinks in a cozy and mysterious atmosphere. By the pool, the Daiquiri Shack will serve classic frozen drinks and seasonal mixes, with eight regularly updated selections and custom creations, ensuring ice-cold beverages perfect for warm summer days and moments of pure relaxation under the sun.

The Polynesian Lounge, meanwhile, blends classic tiki influences with a contemporary island style, offering live music, rotating entertainment, and cocktails that mix modern reinterpretations with timeless classics. This space will become an ideal spot for fun, games, and socializing throughout the day and into the evening, creating a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere for guests of all ages.

For sports enthusiasts, the LandShark Sports Bar will offer an immersive experience with large screens to follow the games and an atmosphere that blends the energy of live sports with a tropical flair. Ice-cold draft beers, snacks, and comfortable booths with neon details will make the venue perfect both for quick stops and for longer, social visits. The Flip Flop Bar, located beneath the ship’s retail promenade, will become a central meeting point for guests of all ages, with live music and entertainment designed to encourage socializing and conviviality throughout the day. The Lah De Dah Juice Bar, positioned between the Teen Club and the spa, will provide a bright and welcoming space for all ages, where guests can enjoy fresh juices, smoothies, and creative mocktails designed to refresh and relax—perfect after a workout or before and after spa treatments, with options suitable for children as well. For quieter and more relaxing moments, the outdoor lounge The Front Yard will offer a menu of spritzes and light, refreshing cocktails, ideal for late afternoons. Meanwhile, Floridays, a restaurant and lounge inspired by Florida’s coastal cuisine, will feature shareable dishes, fresh seafood, tapas, and local-style cocktails in a relaxed and festive atmosphere, perfect for celebrating good food and convivial moments.

At the heart of Beachcomber’s nightlife will be Same Boat, the live music venue curated by three-time Grammy winner and multi-platinum artist Zac Brown. This space will serve as the ship’s evening entertainment hub, combining live performances with a relaxed bar experience to create memorable moments for guests and becoming a signature nightlife destination on board. According to Eric Neuwirth, Vice President of Food & Beverage at Margaritaville at Sea, the bars aboard Beachcomber have been designed to be social and accessible, with each venue featuring its own personality while maintaining a consistent level of hospitality that encourages guests to linger, socialize, and return again and again.

In addition to the main bars and lounges, the cocktail and beverage experience will extend to the ship’s specialty restaurants, which will feature carefully selected wines, classic cocktails, and spirit-based drinks, further enhancing and enriching the overall onboard experience. In this way, Margaritaville at Sea demonstrates its ability to transform every voyage into a complete adventure, where relaxation, socializing, and the discovery of flavors and atmospheres combine seamlessly, offering Beachcomber guests memorable and varied experiences at every moment of the day, from morning sun to sunset and into the evening hours of music and entertainment.

With this new offering, the ship redefines the concept of onboard entertainment and conviviality, establishing Margaritaville at Sea as a benchmark for travelers seeking comfort, fun, and relaxed elegance.
