MS Lafayette built in 1992 and renovated in 2014, has a length of 90m and a width of 10.1m, with 43 cabins (double or single) spread over 2 decks: it can accommodate up to 82 passengers. The size of each cabin ranges from 10m2 to 15m2. This premium ship sailing on the Rhine is named after the Marquis de Lafayette, a great figure in French history and a hero of the US War of Independence.
The contemporary interior is decorated in grey and sand tones. The restaurant on the upper deck, where all meals are served during the cruise and provides a refined setting. Also on this deck is the lounge/bar with dance floor and central bar. The Sun Deck is the ideal place to relax and admire the scenery.

J’ai voyagé à bord du MS Lafayette le long du Rhin, et l’expérience s’est révélée bien structurée. Le bateau est moderne et bien entretenu, avec des espaces communs accueillants et une bonne propreté générale. Les cabines, bien que compactes, sont fonctionnelles et équipées de tout le nécessaire pour un séjour confortable. L’équipage a été disponible, et le programme à bord proposait des moments de divertissement léger, sans être envahissant. L’ambiance était détendue, et le nombre limité de passagers a contribué à créer un environnement paisible. C’est une option idéale pour ceux qui recherchent une croisière fluviale confortable, avec un bon équilibre entre convivialité et intimité.
