Virgin Voyages

Virgin Voyages is a cruise company that was formed very recently at the behest of the Englishman Richard Branson, patron of the Virgin group. They turned to Fincantieri for the construction of a fleet which, as of 2020, already has 4 units between deliveries and orders. Virgin Voyages' intention is to offer cruises only for adults in a radically new ambiance, with live musical entertainment, on-board events and a design concept that is also innovative and extravagant.
From an energy point of view the Virgin Voyages fleet exhibits high performance, among other things by implementing a new energy production system that uses waste heat from on-board generators.
