Viking Sigrun

Viking Sigrun has a length of approximately 135 meters, features 4 decks, and can accommodate up to 190 passengers with a crew of 50 people. It was built in 2019 and hosts its passengers in 95 comfortable cabins, divided into 5 categories, from standard interior to suites. Among the 4 decks, one is the Sun deck, offering ample spaces and marvelous views, along with a seating area and a walking track. The ship includes a restaurant, a bar/lounge, the Aquavit Terrace & Lounge, a library, and an onboard shop.
Its name derives from Norse mythology; Sigrun is the leader of a band of nine Valkyries, the women on horseback who descend into battle to decide which soldiers die and which live. She dies of sorrow after her lover Helgi is killed by her brother Dagr, and later, she is reborn as a Valkyrie herself.
