Viking Rurik

Viking Rurik, built in 2012, has a length of about 130 meters, a crew of 110 people, and can accommodate up to 196 passengers in its 98 river-view cabins. The ship has 4 decks, with the Sun deck featuring a panoramic bar and a shaded seating area. Onboard, you'll find the restaurant, a panoramic bar, the library, and a shop.
The name derives from mythology; in the 9th century, the Varangian prince Rurik established the birth of the Rurik dynasty that ruled the Kievan Rus, the precursor to Russia.
