Viking Njord

Viking Njord, built-in 2012, is one of Viking Cruises' latest-generation Longships. The ship offers large accommodations and comfortable, welcoming public areas. Viking Njord is equipped with a high-efficiency hybrid engine and solar panels. It can accommodate up to 190 passengers in its 95 comfortable cabins, which feature large balconies and all necessary amenities.
The name derives from the Norse god of wind and sea, Njord, worshipped by Viking fishermen and merchants who invoked him to calm the waters and protect their ships.
