Description

Viking Mimir, with a length of 135 meters, can accommodate up to 190 passengers in addition to its crew of 50 people. Built in 2015, Viking Mimir features 4 decks, including 3 interior decks and a Sun deck, with 95 cabins equipped with all comforts and a choice of 5 categories. The common areas include the restaurant, the bar/lounge with expansive windows, the Aquavit Terrace, the library, and the onboard shop. On the Sun deck, there's a shaded seating area and a walking track for enjoying the landscapes. Complimentary Wi-Fi and laundry service are available onboard.
The name derives from mythology; Mimir gained wisdom and knowledge by drinking from the Well of Wisdom. When the Vanir and Aesir gods are at war, the Vanir tribe calls on him for counsel. But unable to interpret his words, they behead him. Odin, the chief of the Aesir, embalms the head with herbs, casting a spell that allows it to speak.
