Viking Gullveig

Viking Gullveig, built in 2014, features 95 spacious cabins and can accommodate up to 190 guests. The ship extends over 4 decks, where you'll find the restaurant with expansive windows, the library, the gift shop, a bar/lounge for relaxation and socializing, the Aquavit Terrace for alfresco dining, and a large sun deck with a shaded seating area for relaxation while cruising along the river.
The name means "golden branch" and derives from Norse mythology. Gullveig is often associated with the practice of seidr (a form of Norse magic) and survived a series of burning rituals, leading to war among the gods.
