Viking Gersemi, with a length of approximately 135 meters, can accommodate 190 passengers in its 95 comfortable exterior cabins, divided into 5 categories (25 standard cabins, 22 cabins with French balconies, 39 cabins with verandas, 7 veranda suites, 2 Explorer suites). The name is inspired by Norse mythology. Gersemi, the daughter of Freya and the god Od, is associated with great wealth and beauty. Her name, along with her sister Hnoss's name, translates to "treasure." Both gods and mortals envied her for her strength and serenity.
The ship offers various common areas, such as a Lounge & Bar with floor-to-ceiling glass doors, a restaurant, a library, the onboard shop, the Aquavit Terrace & Lounge, and a spacious Sun deck with a 360-degree view. The ship also incorporates ecological hybrid engines for reduced vibrations and smoother navigation.
