Description

Viking Embla was constructed in 2017 and, with a length of 135 meters, can accommodate up to 190 passengers in its 95 comfortable cabins, which come in 5 different categories. Viking Embla features 3 interior decks where the cabins are distributed, a restaurant, a library, a gift shop, a bar/lounge, and the Aquavit Terrace, plus a Sun Deck offering a 360-degree view and a shaded seating area, putting green, and walking track.
The name derives from Norse mythology. Embla was the first woman ever created, the mother of the human race. The god Odin and his brothers fashioned Embla, along with Ask, the first man, from two tree trunks they found on the seashore. Embla and Ask were then given Midgard, the world of humans, as their place to live and call home.
