Viking Eldir

Viking Eldir is a Viking Longships-class river ship that entered service in 2026 and is designed to accommodate up to 190 guests in 95 outside staterooms. Its name comes from Norse mythology: Eldir means “one who tends the fire” and is remembered as the loyal servant of the sea giant Ægir. On board, contemporary Scandinavian design combines clean lines, bright interiors and understated elegance. The panoramic restaurant, Lounge & Bar and Aquavit Terrace, with its indoor and outdoor spaces at the bow, offer relaxing settings in which to enjoy the scenery. The Sun Deck features 360-degree views, a shaded area, a garden and a walking path. Accommodation options include standard staterooms, French balcony staterooms, veranda staterooms and suites.
