Viking Einar

Viking Einar was constructed in 2019 and hosts up to 190 passengers and 50 crew members. The ship has 4 decks where you'll find the 95 spacious cabins, a restaurant with expansive windows to keep the landscape always in sight, a library, a gift shop, a bar/lounge for relaxation, and the Aquavit Terrace for those who want to dine alfresco. The 4th deck is the Sun Deck with a 360-degree view, a shaded seating area, and a walking track.
The name derives from mythology; a mighty warrior, Einar wrested control of the Orkney and Shetland Islands from Danish warlords in the late 9th century after his brother Hallad failed to maintain his position there. The dynasty he founded ruled the archipelago until 1470.
