Viking Egil

Viking Egil, constructed in 2016, has a length of 135 meters, a staff of 50 people, and can accommodate up to 190 guests in its 95 comfortable cabins, divided into 5 categories (25 standard cabins, 22 cabins with French balconies, 39 cabins with verandas, 7 veranda suites, and 2 Explorer suites). The cabins are distributed over 3 decks, where you'll also find the restaurant, the library, the gift shop, the bar/lounge with expansive windows, and the Aquavit Terrace. Additionally, there's a spacious sun deck with a well-equipped seating area.
The name derives from Norse mythology; Egil is one of the most memorable Vikings to appear in Norse sagas. Combining courage and strength with high intelligence, Egil embodied the Viking spirit for exploring the unknown world. He also composed intricate and beautiful poetry, and today, Egil personifies the Viking spirit for voyaging the world.
