Viking Atla

Viking Atla, with a length of 135 meters, can accommodate up to 190 passengers and a staff of 50 people. It was built in 2013 and offers 95 comfortable cabins on board, including 25 standard cabins, 22 cabins with French balconies, 39 cabins with verandas, 7 veranda suites, and 2 Explorer suites. The cabins are distributed over 3 decks, where you'll also find a library, the restaurant with expansive windows for panoramic views, the bar/lounge, the Aquavit Terrace, and the gift shop. The fourth deck is the sun deck, featuring a spacious seating area.
The name derives from mythology. The beautiful giantess Atla is the Nordic goddess of water, the daughter of Aegir and Ran, the god and goddess of the sea. Atla is one of the nine wave maidens who live at the bottom of the sea, watching over the World Mill, which constantly turns with the seasons to bring fertility and harmony to the land and its people.
