Description

The Victoria Katarina set a new standard in Yangtze River cruise ship design when it was inaugurated in 2004. Renovated in 2017, the Victoria Katarina is equipped with the latest technologies, including internet access and international phone lines. Like all ships in the company, Victoria Katarina also caters specifically to Western travelers with exceptional service, placing a high priority on service and comfort, thanks to a attentive and prepared staff for every request.
The ship can accommodate 264 passengers in a total of 132 cabins. Travelers can choose from three types of cabins: Superior Cabins (19 sqm), Executive Suites, and Shangri-La Suites of 60 sqm. All rooms are spacious with bathrooms with bathtubs and private balconies overlooking the picturesque scenery of the Three Gorges passage. Completing the ship's description, we have the gym and onboard shop, two restaurants, and a beautiful sun deck.

I spent 4 days aboard the Victoria Katarina, and the experience was truly excellent. The ship offers a superior level of comfort and hospitality: spacious, well-furnished cabins, comfortable beds, efficient air conditioning, and elegant common areas. The staff is extremely attentive and helpful, always ready to meet every need with courtesy and professionalism. The public areas, from the restaurant to the lounge, are well-maintained and welcoming, creating a relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere throughout the cruise. The itinerary covers the most iconic spots along the Yangtze River, including the spectacular Three Gorges, with optional excursions and activities that allow you to explore both the history and culture of the area. Particularly impressive are the scenic tributary of the Yangtze and the visit to the monumental Three Gorges Dam. The cruise also features evening entertainment and onboard relaxation opportunities, making the experience complete and enjoyable in every way.
