Description

St. Lawrence Cruise Lines is a Canadian family-owned company founded 40 years ago by Bob Clark, with the aim of giving as many people as possible the opportunity to visit the St. Lawrence River and its beautiful shores. The onboard crew is 100% Canadian, and together with warmth, helpfulness, and industriousness, they will do everything to make guests feel at home. The M/V Canadian Empress was launched on September 6, 1981: emulating the classic Victorian-era steamboats, the décor style is inspired by the early 1900s in a skillful blend of modern technology, providing all safety and comfort to travelers, and the Victorian style typical of the early last century, with brass railings and metal ceilings. All onshore excursions are included in the cruise fare and information is presented along the way by expert local guides. The onboard cuisine is inspired by the specific regions visited, with typical local dishes prepared by expert chefs accompanied by national beer or wine.
