An Unforgettable Svalbard Expedition on the Greg Mortimer
Cruising the Svalbard archipelago aboard the Greg Mortimer was simply an extraordinary experience. Designed specifically for polar expeditions, the ship is modern, remarkably stable (thanks to its X-Bow hull), and surprisingly comfortable for a journey through Arctic waters. The real highlight of the voyage was the wildlife excursions. Expert guides – including biologists, geologists, and photographers – turned every landing into an engaging and educational experience. We were fortunate enough to observe polar bears, Arctic foxes, and walrus colonies from a safe but thrillingly close distance. Onboard service was also impeccable. Meals were diverse and catered to various dietary needs, and the evening lectures were well-curated, informative, and never dull.
