My 13-day cruise aboard the American Constellation, from Seattle to Juneau was an intense experience that exceeded many of my expectations. The itinerary, which included picturesque stops like Anacortes, Friday Harbor, Ketchikan, Glacier Bay, and Tracy Arm Fjord, served merely as the backdrop to an experience that stood out for the relaxed atmosphere on board, the quality of the service, and the constant connection with nature. What I appreciated the most was the ship’s intimate size. It’s easy to develop a sense of community among guests, allowing for casual conversations without ever feeling overwhelmed by crowds. The crew was incredibly friendly and attentive, offering genuine care for every guest. The cabins were spacious, with large windows that made it possible to enjoy every sunset and the peaceful passage between islands without missing a moment. The meals were thoughtfully prepared, using fresh and often local ingredients, with menus that changed daily.
