A Tropical Christmas Under Sail

I spent Christmas aboard the Star Clipper, and it was truly a unique experience. From the moment we departed Puntarenas / Puerto Caldera, the welcome on board was warm and genuine: the crew, always smiling and attentive, made us feel immediately at ease—more like special guests than passengers. The ship, elegant and intimate, allows you to experience the sea in a very personal way. The organization is impeccable yet never rigid: everything flows naturally, from excursions to meals, leaving plenty of room for relaxation and the pure pleasure of sailing. The itinerary through Quepos, Golfito, Coiba Island, Isla Gamez, and Tortuga Island was captivating, immersed in nature and far from crowded routes. Each stop was enjoyed at an unhurried pace, enhancing the connection with the sea and the surrounding landscapes. Christmas on board, despite the tropical setting, was surprisingly moving: elegant decorations, a special dinner, and a festive yet refined atmosphere.
