Celebrity Beyond: Comfort and Style in the Caribbean
My cruise aboard the Celebrity Beyond, departing from Fort Lauderdale, was a fascinating journey that took me to dream destinations like Cartagena, the Panama Canal, Bonaire, Aruba, and Grand Cayman. It was a varied itinerary, with intense days ashore and long stretches at sea perfect for relaxing on board. The ship is modern, with elegant design and common areas that are thoughtfully laid out. The Magic Carpet, the platform that moves between decks, is a real eye-catcher and a lovely spot to enjoy a drink at sunset. My Infinite Veranda stateroom was comfortable, bright, and perfectly soundproofed, although I found the closet space a bit limited. On board, the dining options are extensive. The main restaurants offer well-presented dishes, though the quality varied from day to day. I found the Fine Cut Steakhouse to be excellent. Service was always friendly, the adults-only Solarium was definitely a highlight: peaceful, with comfortable loungers and a relaxing atmosphere.
