Sun Princess

The prototype for the successful “Sun” class, this ship is characterized by the typical elegant interior design, a trademark of Princess Cruises. Over the course of its operational life a large poolside movie screen and an outside relaxation area, called “The Sanctuary”, have been added. The interiors have also been modernized, for example both the buffet and dance club, which means that it is still current today. It operates for the Australian market and is even used on occasion for around-the-world cruises. It is a ship that is best suited to warmer climates due to the fact that it doesn’t have an indoor swimming area.
