Island Princess

The Island Princess, the second ship of the Panamax class, was conceived to operate between the Panama Canal, California and Alaska. A very elegant ship at the time it entered into service, it distinguished itself for the two gigantic but merely decorative “torpedoes” positioned on the smokestack. These have since been removed during the extensive refit that the ship underwent in 2015. Unfortunately, this renovation work made modifications to the stern that irreparably ruined its external look. Furthermore, the addition of new cabins has compromised the overall livability of this Princess Cruises ship.
