An Authentic Journey in India

Sailing aboard the MS Sukapha was one of the most surprising and rewarding experiences of my trip to India. Far from the typical tourist routes, this river cruise allowed me to discover Assam in a truly intimate and authentic way. The ship is small and cozy, with only a handful of cabins, all offering views of the river. My cabin was simple but comfortable. The silence and calm of the river were almost hypnotic—waking up each morning to the ever-changing scenery outside my window was priceless. The crew on board was incredibly kind and attentive. The meals, inspired by regional cuisine, were an absolute delight. But the true highlight of the journey was the excursions: small villages, remote temples, colorful markets... each stop brought authentic encounters and timeless moments. It’s not a luxury cruise, but it’s a journey that enriches you.
